I’ve written two novels for children, Oswald and the End of the World and Moles. I have a third book more or less complete, aimed at a slightly older audience which I hope will be published soon.
OSWALD AND THE END OF THE WORLD
Oswald and the End of the World was published by Scholastic UK in August 07.
Oswald and his father find themselves on the island of Idlegreen. The islanders seem so prosperous that Oswald’s father predicts a great calamity must soon befall them. Predicting catastrophe doesn’t seem the best way to make himself popular to the islanders, and it isn’t.
MOLES
Moles was published by Scholastic UK in July 2009.
This is a ghost-heist story, the offspring of Agatha Christie and Basil Fawlty. It begins as a farce, becomes a tragedy, then a ghost story, a treasure hunt, a manhunt and has three or four endings each one successively ludicrous but, I hope, believable at the same time.
